Dalia Ceja has been surrounded by wine, food, and travel her entire life. She may have grown up in the wine industry but she comes from very humble beginnings. In the late 1960’s her grandparents immigrated to the U.S. from Mexico, worked in the vineyards, and settled in the Napa Valley. With her parents as her role models, hard work and education have been the forefront of Dalia’s drive to excel. In 2008 she graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Marketing & Communications. After graduating from college she departed on a 6-month backpacking journey through South America, learning, exploring and enriching her life with new experiences. This trip became the anchor for a blog that she would launch in 2011.

Maritere Rodriguez Bellas
For the last four years, Maritere Rodriguez Bellas wrote a features column for Vista magazine, which is distributed nationally via the ImpreMedia group. For eleven years, her highly regarded weekly column, Pizarrón Familiar, appeared in La Opinión, the largest Spanish language newspaper in the country. She also wrote for Ser Padres and Healthy Kids en Español for several years. Currently, she is a contributing writer for todobebé.com with her weekly blog, entitled Arroz con Pollo and Apple Pie. Ms. Bellas’s first book, Raising Bilingual Children, was published was by Simon and Schuster in English, September 2014. Ms. Bellas second book entitled, Arroz con Pollo and Apple Pie: Raising Bi-cultural Children, is due out later this year.

Eva Sage Gordon grew up in coastal Rhode Island, and has since lived in 5 countries—most recently in Madrid, Spain. She is co-founder and editor of Penumbra, a bilingual literary magazine. Eva holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Spalding University and an M.A. in English from Saint Louis University. Though he calls New York home and works as a project manager there, Bill is a travel enthusiast who traveled more than 100,000 miles last year to destinations ranging from Madrid to Mumbai. Katie Sterr grew up on the mean streets of Joliet, IL—a southwest suburb of Chicago, known mostly for its prison (you may remember Joliet Jake from Blue’s Brothers). She just recently graduated with her MA in English Literature from Marquette University, where she taught writing for two years, and is now on a quest (some might say scramble) to find the next path. She has tutored students in the writing center at Saint Louis University, Madrid Campus, and has written a travel blog for Bradley University.
